Is There a Difference in Auto Glass Quality?

I have been getting estimates on getting my windshield replaced in my Camry. Some complanies are quoting me $240, but I found one place, that will do it for $140. It makes me suspicious. Does anyone know if there’s a difference in glass quality.

There should not be a quality issue with the glass as it has to pass Federal manufacturing standards to qualify as auto safety glass. The quality of the work on the other hand will vary from place to place. Replacing a windshield is not rocket science. Ask to see their shop, look at currnet jobs, if things look neat and clean go for it!
