Is It Safe to Repair a Small Chip in the Glassin Aminivan Back Window at One of Those Auto Window Repair Place?

I bought a new van at a dealership this weekend an before I left I noticed that there were two tini chips in the glass on the back window (has a rear defrost) and on the side window that only pops out alittle bit; the dealership offered to fix it with one of those guys that comes to your house and fixes windshields, I just dont know if i should insist they replace the window or not I dont want that resin or whatever to fall out in like a year and me have to b responsible for it, what do u think???

They work pretty well, just check the warranty. If it is not fixed correctly over time that chip will turn or could turn in to a actual *****. If it’s tiny and they are going to hire professionals to do it, you should be fine. But definitely ask about the warranty.
