How Long Are Autoglass Chip Repairs Meant to Last?

I had a chip filled by Auto-glass a while back, but what with all this snow and ice, my chip turned into a crack. Is there any chance that they will repair this for free or discounted because they supposedly ‘fixed’ it previously. I also paid for it to be filled by them back then. Thank you.
