How Can I Repair Window Glass?
Because of a marble, we have a cracked (in a perfect circle) window. The window is the typical vinyl- trimmed type. Can it be repaired like auto glass or does it have to be replaced?

By Auto Glass, I expect you mean a windshield – that is two layers of glass laminated to a tough plastic film between them. It is this film that gives the glass sufficient stability that it may be repaired – in some but not all cases.
If your window is insulating glass (two layers with a void in between) it cannot be repaired. First, the inert gas is vented, second the desiccant will quickly become saturated. This will eliminate the insulating value of the glass.
As well, window-glass is not the same type as auto safety glass and can shatter into dangerous shards.
Replace it.
I do not think they can repair vinyl that way. I would replace it.
