Cleaning Tough Stains on Auto Windshield?
I had a paint job, which left paint dust on my windshield. How do I remove them? Glass cleaners? Polish? Or can I scrub them? Using those green scouring pads?

The paint dust is so fine, you will thought that you have cleaned it. However when you are driving, and under the sun you can see it clearly. Please help.

go to the hardware store and get a bag of 000 steel wool and wipe the windshield down with it, works great on glass and chrome.
NO SCOURING PADS!! You can simply use a razor blade at a slight angle to smoothly scrape it away, brake cleaner and a rag also works, 3M adhesive remover and a rag works as well. It will come off easily with these methods, and cause no damage when done carefully.
You definitely don’t want to use the green pads, they are abrasive enough to scratch the glass.
You can, however, use the mild scrubbers that are made out of plastic (they’re usually marked as "safe for delicate surfaces" or "non-scratch")
