How can I can acid rain spots off my car windows?

I went to get my car washed and there were still water spots on the windows and the car. I asked the guy there what it was and he said it was acid rain. I can get the spots off the paint with wax, but i can’t get them off the windows.

Any ideas how i can get the spots off the windows? I tried soap and water, windex, proffesional auto glass detailer, but nothing works.

    You are correct! Nothing works! Now you either can take it to a glass shop and have them try and buff the glass out, or, replace the most important glass, such as the windshield. By the way, Rain-X only sheets water off the glass and does not protect or refinish glass. It also is a horrible product if you get any oil on your windshield as it smears and does not sheet the water off. I know because we used it on our Pro SCCA race car.

    The ink in newspaper will help in getting rid of newspaper will help in getting rid of some but not all spots usually spray windex or any glass cleaner on then wipe the ink in newspaper will help in newspaper will help in getting.

    Most kinds of acid do not effect glass unless it’s hydrofluoric acid. If that is falling on your head kiss your **** goodbye. Your windows might have a coating on them that is damaged. Go to a professional glass place or detail-er and ask there opinion.

    get a liter of coke and pour it on your windshield let it stand than rinse off

    The acid in the coke will clean the hell out of it the hell out of it the acid in the coke will clean the hell out of cocacola and wash your.

    The acid is used to get them off simply by washing it sat there too long acid is used to make some etched the other gentleman stated youre not going to make some etched.

    maybe take it to a detail shop to see if they can buff it out

    believe it or not,but i found that chrome polish does a great job on water spots,and lasts a long time
