Duh, I made a mistake when reattaching my rearview mirror to my windshield, and put the metal piece on the windshield wrong (glued the wrong side of the metal piece to the windshield). I was using one of the reattachment kits from an auto parts store. Now my question is, how the heck do I get this piece off the glass to fix it correctly?

I need my windshield replaced on my brand new Ford Escape (thanks to a large tree branch). The auto body place gave me the option of PPG glass or Ford glass (70$ more expensive). My hunch is to get the Ford glass since this truck is still brand new… Does it really matter? Is there a difference?

I went to get my car washed and there were still water spots on the windows and the car. I asked the guy there what it was and he said it was acid rain. I can get the spots off the paint with wax, but i can’t get them off the windows.

Any ideas how i can get the spots off the windows? I tried soap and water, windex, proffesional auto glass detailer, but nothing works.
