Drivers side window on an infiniti Q45 1994 is stuck halfway down. The motor still works and will lower the window but will only raise it half way. A repair mechanic said that it is a very expensive repair and would take all day to fix it? Any suggestions, I am getting cold. Any repair shops in Dallas? Would an auto body shop or car window glass shop be better (and more reasonable) for fixing this problem?

I have a 2005 Saturn Vue and was driving down the highway when my driver’s side window exploded in on me. I am trying to determine how this happened and if it could happen again. There were no nicks or cracks in the window prior to this and I have found nothing external (a rock, etc) in my car that could have hit the window and caused the breakage.

I own a 1993 dodge caravan. While i was on vacation, the front drivers side window got vandalized. The vehicle is worth about 1,000 so i hesitate to replace it at an expensive auto glass dealer. Any suggestions?

There are several types of home glass or window tint/film, but the cost is considerable compaired to auto tint. Can auto tint be used safely on residential window glass to decrease heat, increase energy efficiency, and look nice if done right. (No bubbles, etc.)
